Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were fine, although during the hot weather, better ventilation would have been appreciated. Mornings could get a bit noisy due to traffic. On the positive side, the room felt like a suite with a separate space for a single bed and a spacious area with a sofa bed for my son. The bed was comfortable, and the thick bath towels added a cozy touch. I enjoyed the complimentary biscuits and bottled water in the room. The breakfast and coffee were delightful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there was a concern about mold in some areas.
The hotel's rooms were very smart and welcoming, nice, clean, and big. They were essentially in the car park which can be a little annoying in the morning if you didn't want to be woken up by a van at 5 am, but that's really just nitpicking at this point. The rooms were spacious with a nice ensuite and, importantly, a really comfortable bed.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the room was spacious and well presented, I found it overheated, leading me to have to open the windows with noise from the 24-hour car park disturbing my sleep. The staff, however, were extremely helpful and friendly, which made up for some of the inconvenience.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though they could have been aired a bit more before we arrived. The service was excellent, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The location was great with ample parking, making it convenient for exploring Newbury. The dining experience was average, with limited breakfast options.
The hotel offers convenient rooms with direct access to free car park but lacks soundproofing. While the rooms could get too hot at times due to poor ventilation, the location was ideal with surrounding amenities. The service was generally friendly and accommodating, although at busy times it could be overwhelming. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with room for improvement in the breakfast options. Overall, a decent stay with some minor inconveniences.
The hotel has a great location close to town center with very good free onsite parking. The rooms, though a bit tired, are clean, bright, and very comfortable. The service, despite some issues like delayed room cleaning, offers complimentary water and bath products. The car park with ample free spaces is a positive. The dining experience is good with a buffet offering a variety of hot and cold options. The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Newbury.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were very comfortable with nice amenities like multiple plug sockets and a lovely bathroom, although the flood light outside made it too bright at night. Unfortunately, some aspects were lacking such as the cleanliness and the absence of decaffeinated tea options. The location was convenient, but the noise from the traffic outside could be bothersome. The service was friendly and helpful, though there were some delays in getting information. The dining experience was a mix of positives and negatives, with good food choices but occasional service issues. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel is just perfect with spacious rooms that feel like a suite, a quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff. The breakfast is lovely, but there were some issues with the dining experience. The location is excellent, though there were some unexpected disturbances. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups.
The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms with nice refreshments, but it was noisy and very hot at times. The service was extremely accommodating and pleasant, with the staff being very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for easy access to the town center, although it could get very noisy due to its proximity. The dining experience varied from good to unpleasant depending on the situation. Overall, a place with friendly staff but some noise and dining issues.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms had everything I needed and it was a nice surprise that they were cleaned and restocked during the day, though the front location was a bit of a drawback. The service was exceptional, with staff being accommodating and stress-free. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The dining experience was a bit below standard, but the buffet style made it easy to access. Overall, a great value for the money.
The hotel had everything we needed and was a nice surprise that they had been in and made the bed and restocked everything during the day. The room was very nice, with a nice large bathroom, although I did find it very warm. The location was great for exploring the town, easy access to pubs, coffee shops, and more. The dining experience was good with a full English buffet, but there could have been more attentive service at breakfast.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious, but unfortunately, they overlooked a noisy road. On the positive side, my room was located at the bank of the hotel, overlooking the car park, providing a quieter atmosphere. However, being on the 2nd floor and furthest away from reception made it a bit inconvenient.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the room was unexpectedly spacious and clean, but being situated in the car park could be a nuisance in the early morning. The service was a real blend, with some staff members being overly invasive while others were extremely friendly and helpful. The central location was a big plus for exploring the city, but the dining situation left much to be desired. Overall, a bit of a rollercoaster stay.
Although the room overlooked a garden where people smoked all night, causing the room to smell, the overall cleanliness was good despite the small size and lack of air conditioning; thankfully, the hotel provided an electric fan. The service was excellent with staff being very helpful and polite, and the location was perfect for visiting local attractions and Newbury Town. However, the breakfast quality did not meet expectations. The hotel facilities seemed modern and comfortable, although there were some minor issues with the dining experience.
The hotel was lovely, with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms, plenty of car parking space, and very close to the high street. However, the bathroom floor was in poor condition and dangerously slippery, leading to a fall due to a scalding hot towel rail.
